About Elke Albrecht

"Strong work, it demands attention, holding the viewer. Not giving one a chance to stray from the painting. Your use of color is exceptional" (collector, W. F., NYC).
In 2015 Elke Albrecht received a grant from the Pollock - Krasner Foundation (New York). From 2008 until 2012 she was represented by Ivan Karp at OK Harris Works of Art in New York. In 2012 she moved back to Germany after 15 years in NY. Her work is mainly included in many private and public collections in Germany, Canada, London and the USA.
The work is about herself and her life, it is personal and it is great if it is relevant for other people and if it resonates with other people.
