I was born and raised in coastal North Carolina. Along the way I lived most places between NYC and the mountains of Idaho.
In 2011 I was burned out on corporate life and I wanted to live a different story. So I set out across America to visit all 50 states and photograph 1 person a day, everyday, for an entire year. I want to learn to love my neighbors. It was the best year of my life.
Along the way I started photographing my companion, Maddie the Coonhound.
