ARTISTIC STATEMENT:
"My art is my search for the moments beyond the ones of self knowledge. It is the rhythmic fantasy; a restless streak which looks for its own fulfillment! A stillness that moves within! An intense search for my origin and ultimate identity".


Art: Meena Chopra is an internationally known award winning visual artist & poet with an unbridled passion for space, colours, forms and words.  She has been practicing her arts for over three decades now. 
Born and brought up in Nainital, now in Canada Meena graduated from Isabella Thorburn College Lucknow, India. Later qualified as a designer in 1977 from Delhi India and as an Artist Educator from RCM Ontario. After having a career as a designer for seven years with couple of leading garment firms of New Delhi India. She later switched to fine arts simultaneously perusing her career in marketing and advertising as an entrepreneur. Primarily a self taught artist, she informally got trained and mentored under master artist Rameshwar Broota at Triveni kala Sangam, New Delhi, where she took art and sculpture classes.
