Philippe Leblanc

My work is mostly inspired by mathematics and architecture. I am receptive to rationality and seek purity of form, organized, non-random line of thought.
With logical and mathematical relations such as the golden number or the Fibonacci sequence, my work endeavors to marry discipline and sensitivity.
Interaction with the environment, a slight movement, a shift of light, or the viewer's change of place reveal artworks with a renewed perception.
Rational and geometrical, my compositions follow strict rules of creation that should disappear to reveal a playful, and intriguing experience.
