Helena Georgiou was born and raised in Nicosia, Cyprus.
She studied Interior Design at the University of Nicosia, History of Architecture at HarvardX Extension School, and Photography & Journalism at Michigan State University.
However, studies History of Photography at the University of London and attended photography lessons from MoMa museum New York.
At present, she studying Greek Culture studies at the Open University of Cyprus.
Since 2011, she has showcased several solo + group exhibitions in distinguished galleries around the world, such as the Papenhuder57 Gallery Germany, Parliamentarioum (Brussels), European Parliament (Strasbourg), Öffentliche Versicherung Braunschweig, Germany.
She has been nominated with important distinctions such as European Parliament photographic awards. (3 times), and from Sony Award Sony World Photography Awards.
Her portfolio includes: street photography, portraits of ordinary peoples, digital art (manipulation), architecture, minimal, still life, etc.
