Anneke Klumper

Being a choreographer for many years are started painting.
Inspired by Joan Mitchell , my goal is to create landscapes that draw you in with a hypnotizing quality. The paintings touch on feelings and emotions lying directly under the surface giving(hopefully) satisfying sensations.
My paintings are in private and public collections In The Netherlands, Sweden,Belgium, Spain, England,Switzerland,Singapore,Greece, France and the USA.
Originally from Amsterdam I moved to Geneva Switzerland. And now live in Los Angeles in winter and in France in summer.

I have been trained/ worked as a modern dancer/choreographer before changing to painting.
