Oliveira Tavares

He was born in Lisbon in 1961.
Lived in Brazil throughout his childhood.
After living several years in Brussels and Paris, he now lives and works at Borba, Portugal.

He studied 4 years of Civil Engineering at the “Instituto Superior Técnico”, Lisbon.
Later, he studied Drawing at Ar.Co (Centro de Artes Visuais e Comunicação/ Art and Visual Communication Center, Lisbon) and History of Art at the SNBA (Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes/ National Society of Fine Arts, Lisbon).
Workshop “Printmaking Workshop” with Bartolomeu Cid dos Santos, at “Casa das Artes” (House of Arts), Tavira, Portugal.
