Jose Tonito

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from Florida International University. While my education was in photography, my passion has always leaned toward painting, which is now my primary focus. My extensive curriculum of exhibitions and awards is available online if you search for my name.

I have developed a unique process in which I paint directly onto various types of blank photo papers using water, color inks, and unconventional household chemicals. The interaction of these elements creates physical reactions that are instantly captured on the paper. The result is a painting with remarkable sharpness, tonal gradation, depth of field, and a flowing movement that mirrors the work of nature.

I do not use a camera, digital printer, or any other form of reproduction, making each painting truly one of a kind.
