This is my first venture into travel photography so please show your support in words and actions.

These photos are not specifically chosen for meeting the perfect standards of photographs for sale. They are compiled to show you the wonderful part of the world that is The Falkland Islands, South Georgia, the South Shetland Islands and Antarctica.

I invite you to consider them as a collection. See the colours, the contrasts, the scale and magnificence of the numbers and the inquisitiveness of the wildlife. I have included some that you might find strange and certainly probably won't end up on a wall but the point is to show you this environment in all its glory. The weather is good for an Antarctic day generally! Sunny days are few and far between. The photo comments should give you a bit more information about what you are looking at and why I thought you should see it. I have gone for general animal and bird names so I can't promise I got the right
species / sub species etc. If you feel overly concerned about this and know better then do let me know.

These areas really are an undisturbed paradise and the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.
