Jessica Carder

My art is an exploration of the soul, mind and heart. I flow between realism, fantasy, and surrealism, creating images that evoke an emotional response, a questioning of the self and our perception of the world we can see and the one we cannot. I am heavily influenced by dreams, fantasy, desire, anger, love, joy, and pain. I incorporate those elements into every aspect of my work because I believe it is what makes us unique, and it is what makes us human.

There is always something to be learned, something to be discovered about myself and others through the work I create, and that is the life path I choose to follow because, after all, life is art and art is life.

I am an autodidact artist.
