Anca Pedvis

I was born in Bucharest, Romania, and received my MFA at the Fine Art Institute there. Before coming to the USA, I lived in Tel Aviv, then in Paris. I had solo and group shows all over Europe - France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Monte Carlo, Bucharest. I received the UNESCO prize for painting at the XIV th Edition of The Grand Prix International d'Art Contemporain de Monte Carlo. I am a permanent member of the Taylor Foundation in Paris, of the Silvermine Galleries in New Canaan, CT, and of the Romanian Artists' Association in Romania.

I received my BA at the Art School in Bucharest, and my MFA at the Bucharest Fine Arts Institute, where I specialized in mural painting and old mural painting techniques.
