Jose Miguel Costa

I am an artist born in Barcelona, ​​Spain, in December 1971. Although I built my professional career in other fields, I have always felt a drive to draw and paint—a passion I never abandoned.
In 2000, I decided to pursue formal training at the Escola Massana d'Arts i Oficis in Barcelona, ​​where I completed a four-year advanced vocational program before going on to study for a degree in Art History.
I feel the time has come to share my artistic work with the public.
Among the pieces I have created, my earliest works were dedicated to the world of horror cinema. Later, thanks to my wife—who is of Moroccan origin—I became interested in the Arab world.
In recent years, I have focused on domestic scenes featuring my cats.
