Sheri Waldrop lives in Western Michigan, at the edge of a national forest, where she paints the subjects that appeal to her most: birds and the landscape they live in. An avid birdwatcher, she has been identifying, sketching and painting birds for years. Her goal is to recreate the natural beauty around her in oils.
She studied fine art at the University of Virginia, and continued pursuing her art through the years. Her work has been displayed in several galleries, including the Silver Key Gallery in East Texas, Artworks in Big Rapids Michigan, and the NCAA Gallery in Fremont, Michigan.
Her latest works are titled "The Birds of Michigan" and are a series of paintings depicting wild birds in their natural setting.
