Mato Granić was born on the 5th of February 1991 in Vinkovci where he finished elementary schooling. In 2009, he graduated from the School for Textile, Design and Applied arts in Osijek (painting department) and acquired the status of painting designer. In 2009, he passed the entrance exam for the Department of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts, Zagreb, where he finished his studies in 2015 in the class of Prof. Duje Jurić and recieved the title of " Master of Arts". Mato is skilled in both pencil and charcoal drawing techniques, as well as oil and acrilic painting. His biggest interests include a hyperrealistic and fotorealistic painting style, design and illustration.
