Junjun Li

I paint as I live, with an intention to show that life is about realizing possibilities. My work is a dynamic encounter with nature, perception, and challenges that lead us towards a place of insight and learning.

Born and educated in China, my paintings and poetry reflect the unique cross-cultural journey I have taken from China to California. I currently live in San Francisco and enjoy painting in my Potrero Hill studio. I teach expressive art at Juvenile Hall and private classes. In other times, I travel to immerse myself in inspiring cultures and landscapes, explore contact dance and understanding different expressions of the humanities.

Trained in Visual Art at South China Normal University and in Studio Art at Sonoma State University, her paintings reflect her unique cross-cultural journey from China to San Francisco.
