The patchwork of my origins (French, Polish and Algerian), a childhood set in the Parisian suburbs, and the twisting nature of my life’s course together created in me a heightened sensibility. At the age of 18 I acquired my first camera, an event which marks the beginning of my artistic career. As well as photography, I have expressed myself through a variety of different mediums over the years, including acting, music, and writing. After stumbling upon the surrealist manifestos of Andre Breton in 2012, however, my attention turned towards painting.

My work explores themes such as visual perception, reality, memory, evolution and transmission, as well as the concepts error and self-denial. I am drawn to the play of nature on perception, the purity of abstraction, the textures of a surface, mixtures and layers, and aesthetic asymmetry. The processes used by artists such as Alexander Rodchenko, Ernest Haas, Antoni Tapies, and Gerhard Richter have greatly influenced my work, as have the tests of Wassily Kandinsky and the artistic vision of Marcel Duchamp.

Diploma in Dramatic Arts – Cours Florent - 2005/2008 – 37 Avenue Jean Jaurès, 75019, Paris.

July 2012: Private exhibition showcasing my photography and artworks at Knoth & Krüger gallery, Berlin.

April 2011: Inclusion of photography work in collective exhibition, Mairie du 1er arrondissement, 4 place du Louvre, Paris.
