Craig Cartwright

After receiving my degree in Fashion Illustration from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1991 I decided to head straight to New York City to pursue work as an artist. I spent 12 years there working in Visual Display at Macy's, doing commercial illustration and design work for Fox The Simpsons, Pixar, Disney, and Warner Brothers(Looney Tunes). I also spent many days developing my Fine Art oil paintings into a series called Organica. I have been working out of my studio in Venice Ca. for the past ten years. My new series of figurative paintings are set in a not too distant future and deal with environmental concerns and humanity as it merges with technology.
