Her large scale painting installations are characterized by a monochromatic nature and Revolves around space in all its forms and multiple meanings. Her works emphasize the extreme duality of an epical approach and a microscopic attention to details that are drawn by ‘mapping’ and scratching the surface. Until today, Lihi has presented several solo shows: in 2010 she exhibited her first exhibition, titled “At the Sight of”, at Julie M. gallery in Tel Aviv, in 2012 she showed “White Mule” at Rothschild 69 Projects, curated by Noam Segal and in 2013 she presented “Kushi-Atlas” at Julie M. Gallery and “2101” at Sommer Gallery for contemporary art in Tel-Aviv.
During 2015 Turjeman was resident at the ‘cite internationale des-arts’ in Paris where she showed the painting installation 'maktub'
Turjeman graduated with honors her first degree in the Art department at the Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem and MFA studies in Bezalel Academy She studied at the école national superior des beaux-arts in Paris, as a visiting student (2008/9). In her graduation exhibition she showed large scale painting installation named ‘TIKUN OLAM’. During her studies, she received the Lauren and Mitchell Presser award for excellence in painting, and the Joseph and Ada Bulapio award for outstanding achievements in the department of history and theory.
