William Hinsch

Bill Hinsch is a celebrated portrait and aviation artist based in Ohio, known for capturing the human spirit through oil paintings and drawings. In 2023, Bill completed a monumental 12 ft x 9 ft painting of Ohio’s Astronauts, now proudly showcased in the rotunda of the Columbus Ohio Statehouse. This work joins an exclusive collection of only five large-scale paintings in the Statehouse.

Another iconic piece, his 2003 mural “100 Years of Ohio Aviation,” is exhibited at the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio. The mural celebrates Ohio’s legacy of aviation pioneers and is a testament to Bill’s dedication to honoring history through art.
