RECOGNITION
Sarah Daly is an Australian artist who works with interior designers and their clients.
She studied visual arts and art history at the Queensland College of Art and the University of Queensland. She later completed masters level work at the University College London, traveling to Paris to study the drawing works of Rodin.
After early years in Papua New Guinea surrounded by local artists, then living across Asia, Europe and Australia, her work shows a deep connection to the places we call home. Sarah’s work references iconic artists including John Olsen, Yayoi Kusama, Margaret Olley, Camille Pissaro, Egon Schiele, and August Rodin.
She works from studios in Brisbane and Barcelona, and loves bringing the beauty of nature into our indoor spaces.
Collaborating with interior designers since 2017, Daly & X paintings are now in residences and boutique hotels in Australia, the United Kingdom and Spain.
