Brenda Walsh is an Australian visual artist based in Melbourne. She is most widely known for her quirky portraits of cats and dogs painted in the style of the old masters. She has had regular sold out exhibitions and has been represented in various group shows.
Animals and their complex relationship with humans feature strongly in her recent works. Issues of cruelty such as in the live meat trade also the impact on many species due to loss of habitat caused by overdevelopment and man made environmental disasters.
Brenda’s work is held in private collections in Australia and overseas.
