My abstract paintings emerge through gesture, intuition, and a deep engagement with color. Rather than working from a fixed plan, I allow each painting to develop through a process of layering, responding, and discovery.
I am interested in the emotional spaces that exist beyond words — places where memory, sensation, and imagination meet. Through translucent layers, movement, and evolving color relationships, I seek to create works that invite contemplation and immersion rather than explanation.
Having lived in Hungary, Germany, and Italy, I have developed a fluid sense of belonging that informs my practice. Painting has become my constant language: a space where freedom, presence, and emotional resonance can unfold.
I often work on several canvases simultaneously, allowing ideas to evolve across a series. Each painting stands on its own while remaining part of a larger conversation about transformation, connection, and the subtle landscapes of inner experience.
My intention is not to tell a story, but to create an atmosphere—one that allows viewers to bring their own memories, emotions, and associations into the work.
Completed secondary education at a scientific high school in Germany (1983–1992).
Following my move to Milan, Italy, I attended various drawing and painting courses before graduating from the Fondazione Cova Ceramic School (1995–1998). I also pursued independent studies at the sculpture studio of A. Minuti, where I was introduced to the tradition of Italian figurative sculpture and learned, through masters connected to the school of Mazzolani, an appreciation for the poetic strength of the female form.
For two years, I worked in a bronze foundry, gaining hands-on experience with sculptural techniques, materials, and casting processes.
After a decade of intensive artistic practice, I followed a different professional path for a period. Yet the connection to art never faded. In 2018, I returned fully to painting, dedicating myself to the development of my own abstract and gestural visual language.
