Malwina Żołyniak is a painter and an art restorer who graduated with an MA from the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, at the Faculty of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art. She comes from a family of artists and has been involved in art since she was a child.
Her paintings and drawings, inspired by nature and its observation, capture thoughts, emotions, and the elusiveness of beauty in all its expressions.
Characterized by a unique painting style, her pictures appear vivid and powerful. She tends to focus on the human relationship with animals, exploring the divisions and collisions between them. Within her dreams and imagination, she seeks a deeper, symbolic meaning of life. Her works reflect a fascination with legends, myths, and that part of the world that remains invisible to the naked eye. She is also inspired by forms of shamanism, where a channel between the human world and the animal world is opened. Animals act as messengers, healers, and protagonists within the narrative structure of her paintings. Through symbolic images and spiritual responses to the world, she unveils the cognitive and emotional aspects of life.
