I love color!!! Color is an expression of my emotions.
I discovered the joy of painting when I was in preschool and I knew then that painting was something that I was going to pursue one day. It is relaxing and at the same time exiting process for me. I am a Graphic designer, photographer and fine artist that enjoys doing what I do. I was born in El Salvador and my culture is in my blood. I emigrated to the US, Chicago, in the '80s and I learned then to love this culture. My work is a combination of both.
I love to paint and I would like to think that my art causes emotion to the viewer as it does to me when creating it!!
I paint what I see, how I see it and how it makes me feel. I like to visually express my feelings to transmit them to the viewer.

I studied at UIC in Chicago where I finished my degree in fine arts with a minor in Graphic Design. During this time I explored also with industrial design, drawing, and photography. After graduating, I started working as a desktop publisher for some magazines and newspapers and started a graphic design business.
