Daniel Lipstein

I am Fine Art Printmaker and Painter based in Kildare and Dublin. I am an Award winning printmaker, member of Graphic Studio Dublin.

My later compositions, done as multi-plates etchings where the ocean, as the big home of the primordial life of the self, can be replaced by the bathtub, as the small home, when the self is in the mood of minimisation.

Each work in fact is a ‘simple’, nature or landscape based composition, aiming to be a balanced and a pleasant visual creation, with a lot of energy in the pigments and the tones. In the same time, upon a prolonged observation, my work aims to unveil and communicate something of a metaphysical nature, an essence or a power that exists at the ebb of life, as principles, dealing with the question of the nature of our existence.
