Daily life in the western world is overflowing with stimuli that continuously force our senses to the limit of their abilities. In my artworks I seek to capture the simplicity and tranquility of natural environments and to share my experience of nature’s soul.
My artworks show what I feel when I am in nature. Showing exactly what I see is not important to me. 


With my works of art I hope to stimulate and tease more than just your sight. I hope to achieve that you feel what I felt when I made the artwork; the light, the temperature, the atmosphere.... Sometimes even the smell of a damp autumn forest and the cold of the swirling salty breath of a storm on the beach of the North Sea.

I am a self-taught fine art photographer, with extensive experience of 40+ years. After a long period working with analog photography and developing and printing in my own darkroom, the last 10 years I mostly work with digital cameras.

2019 (October 4-6) - Fotofestival Danmark - group exhibition - Thisted, North Jutland, Denmark. I participate with 20 artworks

2019 (July-August) - Summer exhibition. Solo exhibition of 11 artworks - Hurup Thy, Denmark

2019 (April 14-22) Easter exhibition. Duo exhibition in Frøstrup, North Jutland, Denmark

2018 (March - December) - Online group exhibition “One with Nature”, curator of this exhibition is Cynthia DuVal.

2018 (March - June) - Solo exhibition Radboud UMC, Nijmegen, The Netherlands (university hospital). For a period of 3 months, three photos have been exhibited in a public space (Front Office desk) in one of the buildings of this hospital in the city of Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
