Born in Weststellingwerf (The Netherlands)1945.
Henk creates in his (sur/magic)realistic paintings a fictive world, consisting of just organic forms: forms of plants,animals and human beings and all possible mixtures of them.
Sensuality,symbolism and mythology are elements you can find in his works.
On the 13th of december 2009 Henk received a Lorenzo Il Magnifico award for his artwork on the Biennale Internazionale dell'Arte Contemporanea 2009 in Florence.,
