My childhood was shaped by a formative ritual—weekly outings with my father to Parisian museums and concert halls. Within this immersive environment, certain images became foundational—foremost among them Claude Monet’s *Water Lilies* at the Orangerie—offering an experience of painting as atmosphere and immersive field, where light does not merely describe but envelops.
A connection to the "imprint"—encompassing gesture, sign, and trajectory—deeply informs her practice, situating it in a space where painting remains close to writing and where the mark retains something of the infancy of language.
