im a surfer from the north east uk,and for years ive watched our lovely coastline being clogged up with rubbish and driftwood,so i decided to start collecting these beach waste items,and decided to make stuff out of them,something from nothing!so to speak,it wasnt long before i realized that art could be my true calling,so i made a lifesized driftwood surfer,its took a lot of time to build,and i think it needs to be exibited in a good gallery,for the more querky artwork.so i hope you like what im doing here?i plan on making a lot of sculptures,ive got plenty of ideas,its just getting the recognition i need,all my pieces are totally different from the last,all my work has burned into the wood my logo c-cycle.Surfing has inspired me to start using whats around us,and making things being sympothetic to its form,rather than changing that,driftwood itself inspires me also to carry on doing this work.
