Flor Baradi is a Filipina visual artist based in Manila, known for her surreal and intricately detailed works that merge anatomy, folklore, and the fantastical. Born in Butuan City, she grew up surrounded by the wildlife and oral traditions of Mindanao, which continue to inform her visual storytelling. Her practice weaves together influences from Gothic literature, Lovecraftian mythos, and native folklore, resulting in vivid scenes populated by anthropomorphic flora, mutated fauna, and uncanny human figures.
Baradi has participated in over 80 exhibitions locally and internationally, and her works have been featured in prominent museum projects and juried competitions. She is also the co-owner and managing director of Artepintura Gallery, an artist-run space in Manila. Through her practice, she explores themes of environmental loss, cultural memory, and human transformation, offering viewers a visual storybook that is both unsettling and poetic.
