Artistic expression is my most natural means of communication with the world that surrounds me. I paint because I need to. I crave the dialog that arises between the canvas and myself. It is the physical process of painting a line, or layering, sanding, scraping, tearing and assembling that brings me the most satisfaction. I find my JOY in creating.
My paintings represent a part of me. My personal history, my BLESSNGS, my intentions, my momentary thoughts…
I am inspired and forever changed by the opportunity to see the world through the eyes of my children. This amazing experience has influenced my love for playing with color and shape and left me seeking balance in my work.

I hold a Bachelors of Fine Arts with an Emphasis in Painting & Drawing From Louisiana Tech University & a Masters of Education
