Rana Salama: A Contemporary Visual Artist and Founder of
Rana had spent five years studying interior design before she realized that one may pursue a passion and discover a more deeply-ingrained one along the way. To her, it was and always has been painting.
Abstract is Rana’s forté. Each painting of hers is an individual; fully-fledged with a unique life story of its own. Her mentors would best describe her art as a combination of the seemingly uncombinable. The end product is a riddle-like artwork engaging the mind of the audience while speaking right to their soul.
Like most creative endeavors, the planning, preparation, and execution of a single painting take weeks, if not months. Thus, teaching Rana the virtue of patience. To feel limitless with endless ideas floating around is something she has grown comfortable with because at the end of the day it is the art that makes her feel grounded and complete.
Rana’s artwork has represented Egypt in several prestigious international art exhibitions. Many of her paintings have found new homes in and outside Egypt from the Far East to the Far West.
