Guifré Pastó

I was born in Barcelona on 23 September 1968.
As a child already showed a special sensitivity for drawing and sculpture.
I live surrounded by nature and I deem it a spiritual person, that influences my work.

At age 12, my father pointed to a painting school.
Years later I studied illustration in the "Official School of Arts and Crafts Market" in Barcelona.
Finished my studies but self-taught in different schools of drawing and painting.

From 2002 he began to paint oil paintings in a more introspective work that reflects his conception of life.

He begins by painting a series of works under the generic title "Nature Scraps", where he expresses his sincere respect for nature and each of its aspects focusing on the small details that form it.

When in 2009 he begins to study philosophy, he adds to his work a new element, which is to use the images of nature to explain the different theories of human thought where he draws his new inspiration. This new stage is called "Drawing Philosophy".
