Svitlana Prokopenko

Born and raised in Ukraine in 1986. I started drawing as an adult after reading Van Gogh's book “Theo's letters”, and since then I can't imagine my life without creativity. This inspired me not only to pursue art, but also to constantly develop my skills.

At the age of 28, I entered the Kiev National Academy of Fine Arts and architecture at the Faculty of painting. 2 years later, in 2016, I received a scholarship and entered the Florentine Academy of Fine Arts, where I am currently receiving a master's degree in painting. It is a great honor for me to study painting in a city with an extremely rich history, realizing that these streets were once walked by the greatest artists of the Renaissance.

I have participated in many collective exhibitions in Italy. The first solo exhibition was held in 2022 in Castell’Arquto, Italy
