Ian Hunter

Born in Queens, NY, raised in Rochester NY, I've been drawing since before I could walk. In my early years, I was inspired by the images on video games. I also would try to visually create scenes from books I read.
I tend to work in pencils and acrylics, as they allow me the most freedom to express my ideas. I enjoy painting nature and landscapes, and fantasy art. I also enjoy nature photography.

I have an A.A.S in Visual Communication from Monroe Community College, and a BA in Graphic Design from SUNY Empire State College. I have also studied painting, figure drawing, and ceramics at the Rochester Memorial Art Gallery
