Christopher L Crego

Completely self taught, Christopher has been working in the arts his entire life. Born into poverty Christopher learned to use art as an escape at an early age. Now as an adult Christopher often times focuses on the harsher aspects of life in his art. Other times he chooses to capture the beauty that surrounds us from day to day. Christopher has had an interest in many different types of art including, but not limited to, special effects makeup, guitar, drawing, sculpting, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, etc. But his all consuming desire is in oil painting, and it shows in the complexities of his portraits and all of his work.

When asked why he paints so many woman he responded: "To me, women are the most beautiful things in the known universe. If I ever find anything more beautiful I'll paint that instead."
