Adam Ballard

I am new to art, well kinda, I didn't pick a pencil or anything else till the beginning of 2013 again after a long time of not doing anything. I grew up in a small town and had the idea that art, poems and so forth were not what a man did.

I have started painting, as well as charcoal and other mediums. I just like to create, and hope it sparks a smile for another human.

I think I might have missed my calling...

Now at 38, I am drawing, mainly work in pencil, pen and ink. I want to get into some kind of paints at some point and time. But money, and my life kinda slow that down at this time.

My style is some what different, I have never had any classes, except 2 years in High school, and that was a long time ago. I just sit and draw, then I look at it and go from there. I think I would be considered abstract, pop art and some surrealism mixed all together.

I have a lot of influences, I was a soldier for 10 years, played sports, listen to a wide range of music. I have been rediscovering my self in the past few years. While I have a rough exterior, I am as soft a feather in the wind.
