ADINNA® is a painter and photographer living and working in Dallas, TX. Born December 1978 in Bucharest, Romania, ADINNA’s early work influence consists in the realms of fauvism. Later, the artist stepping into self exploration, identifies with abstract expressionism. Self taught, she started drawing and painting as a child. Growing up in a family of artisans, she was educated in the practice of arts and crafts from an early age. ADINNA finds her inspiration in nature and the time spent at her family country homes, learning the creation of decorative objects from Earth-based ingredients. Situated on ancient grounds with breathtaking natural beauty, she grew up surrounded by myths and legends, wisdom teachings and art. Childhood memories, the light, colors and textures, are expressed in her paintings and photography. ADINNA’s work conveys the essence of a golden era, in which she relates to her past, and taps into the future though the filter of a perpetual now presence. Light, emotion, symbolism are transformed into color and dimension. Artist’s connection with the eternal source of life, light and love, stands beyond time and the material.
