Aedan Hanley

Aedan Hanley is an abstract and figurative expressionist painter whose work explores the emotional architecture of human connection, identity, and urban experience. Drawing on a deep academic background in psychology and a foundation in graphic design and fine arts, Hanley integrates bold tetradic color palettes, gestural textures, and unconventional tools to create expressive, sculptural surfaces. Since retiring in 2023, his award-winning works have been featured in over a dozen exhibitions and published in international art journals, including Novum Artis. Hanley’s work appears on Artsy, Artnet, and multiple gallery platforms. He lives and paints in Mission Viejo, CA.
