Agnes Jorgensen is an award winning artist living in Sainte-Anne-des-Lacs, Quebec. She attended the Academy of Realist Art where she acquired her skills to create figurative oil paintings that fuse Old Master techniques with a contemporary narrative style.

Agnes was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. At the age of 24 she picked up her first set of paints and discovered how exciting and rewarding it was to delve into her emotions and express herself on canvas. Her process of layering rich, vibrant colors with soft gestures creates an expression of feminine softness, harmony and depth in her oil paintings.
Agnes Jorgensen’s artwork is part of private collections throughout the world. She has received special commissions and top awards for her artwork.
Agnes has received national and international awards and many publications have featured her and her art including the Important World Artists 2014.

In New York she has exhibited her artwork at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel and the Rockefeller Center.
