Agnieszka Sowala-Kozlowska

Polish artist, the voice of generation x. Speaks the language of film and pop culture, plays with light and colour. She does not shy away from socially relevant issues. She operates with a variety of techniques, from illustration to poster to painting. She closely observes everyday life and refers to it, establishing a dialogue with the viewer. She hooks the viewer, asks questions and arouses curiosity. She engages the viewer to ask questions without providing clear answers.
She creates oil paintings inspired by everyday life, classic cinema, contemporary art and variations on the classic still life motif.
