Alejandro Alegue

Alejandro Alegüe, also known as AGÜD, is a Colombian visual artist whose practice explores childhood as a symbolic and political territory. Through painting, muralism, installation, and participatory processes, his work investigates themes of migration, memory, inequality, and collective belonging. Over the past years, he has developed community-based art projects in Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Italy, Spain, and the United States, creating dialogues between public space, contemporary art, and social practice. In 2024, he formalized the methodology Seguimos Siendo Niños, based on play, active listening, and collaborative creation.
