Ainhoa Montánchez is a contemporary artist from Bilbao, based in Melbourne, Australia.
With a big influence of coastal villages of Spain and the Mediterranean Sea, her work celebrates the joy of life and invites to appreciate the beauty of simplicity.
Her passion for travel, slow living and human mind led her to create colourful portraits that capture the personality and charisma of men and women from all over the world.
The characters, enormously expressive thanks to her handling of portraiture, are captured in a moment of abstraction from their surroundings and connecting with their innerself, calm and wellbeing.
