Alain Chardon

Born in France, but adopted by Barcelona decades ago. I run my printing workshop, Quadrat 9, located in the Poblenou area, providing printing services for artists from all over the world, while developing my own creative process. The result of witch I have now made available for costumers of Saatchi art.

I am moved by the matter and texture of paper, often combining various techniques: collage, xilography, litography, in the same piece. My inspiration is around energy work, meditation, oriental traditions such as zen, the observation of nature and expressing what is around us, visible and invisible, in its purest forms. My aim is to bring peace, inspiration and reflection through my work.

In the recent years, it has been shown in both individual and collective exhibitions in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, France, Germany, Sardinia and Norway.
