I live in Edinburgh, Scotland. My hometown.
I use multiple perspectives and scales to convey my own experience of a subject.
Common themes include trees, landscapes, blustery skies and imagined fractal or fragmented elemental structures.
By superimposing multiple images of a subject I attempt to convey the way the human brain imperceptibly flickers as our eyes scan a view in nature.
My main influences include David Hockney, Van Gogh, and more recently Alfred Marseille.
I have been working in the medium of photo-collage for nearly 20 years, having first experimented when I was a student.
