Albert Heiser revolutionizes the watercolour. Breaking away from the conventions of watercolor painting, AH liberates the genre from its traditional clichés. His painting style, application of pigment, choice of motif and the size of his paintings redefine the aquarelle art form. A mixture of translucent and opaque pigments creates a vivid array of color on the soft texture of the paper. The contrasts, depth and light are dramatic and narrative. "Each pigment holds a personal significance to me. The layered application of paint exemplifies my distinctive style." AH works exclusively in 2:1 or 1:2 aspect ratios. The horizontal compositions evoke cinematic perspectives while his vertical formats convey a classic, timeless aura.

Realistic and abstract elements merge into something new in the watercolor genre. The insights are both seductive and subversive. Landscapes resonate, saturated with the spirit of the moment. Albert Heiser's motifs delve into intermediate worlds to conjure a compelling magnetic force. His portraits freeze time and set souls free.

Albert Heiser - AH, studied social and business communications at the Berlin University of the Arts and has received numerous awards for his creative achievements in advertising. He has developed visionary campaigns for banks, automobile manufacturers, and public utilities. His artistic journey has taken him from commissioned projects as a creative director to working as a freelance artist. He has honed his skills on photography and painting excursions in Canada, the USA, Italy, Japan, Spain, and Peru.
