Alessia Biscarini

Born in 1968 in Perugia (Italy) I live and work in Corciano, in one of the most beautiful villages in Umbria. I obtained a scientific high school diploma and a degree in law, while cultivating a great passion for painting. My research is essentially self-taught, I like to experiment with colours, ranging from figurative to abstract, using oils, acrylics and pigments, on different supports such as canvas, wood, polystyrene, sometimes inserting material solutions. I started with participation in group exhibitions, and then continued with a personal path. I have exhibited in Alghero, Rome, Treviso, Veroli, Naples, Catania, Florence, Venice as well as in important Umbrian sites such as the Rocca Paolina and Villa Fidelia. The latest exhibitions are in museums in Deruta, Gualdo Tadino and Città della Pieve. I have also obtained recognition abroad, creating paintings on large exhibition panels for a prestigious showroom in the center of Moscow. By my nature always on the move, not only internally, I travel frequently to Morocco, where I draw new inspirations.
