Oleksandr Solonenko

I was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. Despite taking interest in film photography in junior high, I didn't return into serious photography until the digital era at a much older age. On one of the projects we've worked with famous advertising photographer Alexey Abramov, and that is when I realized that photography was my true passion. Alexey was latter to become my tutor in photography world (Fotomaster Photography School) until he passed away in a tragic car crash. Ever since than I am all into photography, both commercial and art.

I've done quite a lot of travelling, living in USA for 2 some years and a year in UK. After returning to Kyiv and living there for several years, I moved to Sevastopol, Crimea, Ukraine. 5 years down the road I had to move again due to Russia's annexion of the peninsula and now I am stationed in the beautiful city of Lviv. Still love to travel, as that is always an inspiration for me as photographer.
