MY GAZE | METHOD
...I am captivated by the world's diversity. In every thing, I strive to see its intimate essence - what makes it unique. And this search inevitably leads to something universal, to an underlying formula - simple, concise, and beautiful. Perhaps this is why the pure line, the 近乎 calligraphic precision, is so central to my work.
From this comes my method: first, to invite chaos in - to open myself to intuition, to allow the new, bearing unforeseen images, to enter. Then, in the process, to master this chaos: to discover its rhythm, meaning, order, and beauty. I am drawn to this dialogue between the irrational and the rational - it is at their intersection that something truly compelling is born.
Yet beneath this pursuit lies something greater: I believe the deepest reason we exist is so that the stars might see themselves through our eyes. My work brings me profound fulfillment because through it, I can be part of that Gaze… and not only me, but all of us: Art reminds us of the Essential.
