I am Alexander Eyenghe, a visual artist and founder of Charmor Collective, based in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Nigeria. My practice spans over nine years across portraiture, landscape, and narrative series work in acrylic, oil, charcoal, and mixed media. My work is rooted in the visual landscape of the Niger Delta — its waterways, its light, its labour, and the lives built along its banks. I believe in the irreplaceable nature of the painted surface — the record of a specific hand, on a specific day, responding to a specific light.
Self-taught fine artist with over nine years of independent practice in oil, acrylic, charcoal, pastel, pen, and mixed media. On-going studies in higher education.
Creek Songs — Debut solo exhibition of a twelve-part narrative acrylic series. Yenagoa, Nigeria, June 2026.
